This manual is based on a lecture course given by the author at the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University. The book consists of three parts. The first part (analytical geometry and linear algebra) covers operations with matrices, the theory of determinants, and its applications to solving systems of linear equations. The second part (analytical geometry) in addition to traditional material, extensively discusses the theory of orientation, and provides a classification of curves and surfaces of the second order. The third part (linear algebra) presents a systematic exposition of the theory of linear, Euclidean, and unitary spaces, based on the axiomatics of Veblen. This book is primarily intended for students of physical and mathematical specialties.
