The methodological foundations of innovative development of enterprises are set out. The key issues of evaluating the effectiveness of innovations that have their own characteristics compared with the methods of assessing the effectiveness of investment projects are investigated. A methodology has been developed for assessing the impact of innovation on the effectiveness of enterprise economic activity. The main traditional market sources of financing innovation in enterprises were studied.
