'An Extraordinary Journey of Ordinary People' - a novel with adventures, humor, and reflections. I do not claim to know the meaning of human life, but in my opinion, one of its purposes is choosing a goal and moving towards it. Upon reaching it, another goal is set, and then another. If they are not random, it is called a system of goals, an element of the Path of Life. It is important what goals we set for ourselves, the methods we use to achieve them, and what we leave behind.
This book describes a journey, overcoming difficulties. The goal is Komodo Island, a nature reserve in the Indonesian archipelago, where giant Komodo dragons, fearsome predators, inhabit. The main characters are a couple, passionate biologists, studying nature. They encounter sometimes bizarre, sometimes dangerous obstacles. They meet different people. The book is full of memories, stories, funny and sad, and many reflections.
