Ambaraba 1. Student's book

Ambarab is an Italian course for elementary school children (ages 6-10). The course is the result of a successful experimentation conducted for several years by the Pedagogical Institute of Bolzano and is suitable for use both abroad with foreign children and in Italy with mono and multilingual classes. The didactic approach of Ambarab is characterized by: - the richness and variety of linguistic inputs, which outline a path in which the child is continuously and effectively exposed to living and authentic language, - the great emphasis placed on oral skills and in particular on listening, thanks also to the numerous audio tracks and original songs specially composed for the course by professional musicians, - the focus on the interactive and cooperative aspect of learning, with the systematic proposal of production and comprehension activities in pairs or groups, - attention to the physical and multisensory involvement of the child, through the use of techniques derived from Total Physical Response, - the use of clear, lively, and immediate drawings that interact continuously with the text, stimulating the imagination and making the vocabulary understandable. Ambarab 1 is aimed at children in the first grade of elementary school. The work consists of: - a book for the child that includes in a single volume activities for the class, instructions for the teacher, and game sheets, - two audio CDs, one with the original songs composed by Paolo Perri and one with listening activities.
