"A rebellion cannot end successfully, otherwise it is called something else" — this phrase from a poem by the English poet John Harington, freely translated by Marshak, has become anthological. Many actions of military or militarized structures against authority ended unsuccessfully and were historically labeled as rebellions. And the successful ones? They are respectfully called uprisings, revolutions, triumphs.
