The book is devoted to little -studied medical problems in people of older age groups, who survived in childhood long periods of starvation. The author studies the distant consequences of the long-term starvation of children and adolescents in blocked Leningrad (1941-1944) A literary review and data obtained indicate the features of somatic diseases in former minor residents of blocked Leningrad, who have now become adults. The book is reprinted again, its text is complemented and corrected.
