Zbignnev Mentzel - a modern Polish writer, a small master of small uniforms, released two books of short stories. His story "All Languages of the World" entered the short list of applicants for the most prestigious literary prize in Poland, Nick and caused many responses. This is a story about one day from the life of a hero, our contemporary trying to express himself and give meaning to his existence. At the same time, this is a picture of the life of an ordinary Polish family, sharing the complex fate of the Polish intelligentsia. The sketches related to today alternate with the descriptions of the events of the old and recent past, and the thoughts of the secrets of human existence and the essence of the language, hiding behind laughter and grotesque, end in the miracle of its acquisition
