In our book, the classic poetic “The Tale of the Stupid Mouse”, “The Tale of the Smart Mouse”, “A Silent Tale”, “The Chicken Ryaba and Ten Ducklings”, fairy tales based on folklore of different peoples are presented along with dramatic fairy tales for reading and representing. 2019 is the year of the theater. It is impossible not to recall that S.Ya. Marshak is the founder of the children"s theater in our country. The first works for children, according to the poet, were his plays for the children"s theater. Even during the war, he did not stop working. In June 1943, S.Ya. Marshak first read the play “Twelve months” of the Moscow Art Theater. And today, the fairy tales “Teremok”, “Koshkin House”, “Petrushka-foreign”, “Twelve months” and others with unchanged success go both in children"s professional theaters, and in amateur theaters and studios throughout the country.
