The dictionary describes about 10,000 derivatives of the modern Russian language, which are formed not from one word, but from two or three single -rooted words, since in its meaning these derivative words can be correlated not with one producing word, but with two or three. Such words have two or three word -formation structures, i.e. are polystructural. The dictionary clearly (graphically) shows from which producing and with the help of which word -formation elements (prefixes, suffixes, etc), different word -formation structures of such polystructural words are created in the language as, for example, operating (formed from the operation and from operating) , exhausted - from the powerless, and from powerless, and from power.
