Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) - an English writer, a professor of mathematics at Oxford University, one of the best photographers of the 19th century, - immortalized his name with tales about a girl named Alice. Curiosity first led Alice to an underground country, where surprises and fantastic characters awaited her, and then the girl ended up in Through the Looking-Glass, where she experienced many adventures.
