From the point of view of the positions of modern evidence -based medicine, the most predicted part of any surgical intervention is its first stage - operational access. Therefore, algorithmization, or strict order, the actions of the surgeon in the implementation of surgical access has risen for a long time.
In fairness, it should be said that some guidelines set out the sequence of actions of the surgeon when performing access in certain parts of the human body, but the clear standard was not observed. There is not a single leadership where operational access to all topographic and anatomical areas and abdominal formations of a person are collected.
In the monograph by A.A. Vorobyov and co-authors, more than 300 operational access with the presentation of topographic and anatomical orientes of the future section, features of the patient’s position on the operating table, the features of the anatomical structures (blood vessels, nerves, fascia), muscles) are logically and briefly described. with whom the surgeon will meet in the implementation of access, and the sequence of his actions in the cavity of the operating wound. Each description is clearly confirmed by a beautiful graphic pattern.
The monograph will be especially useful for novice surgeons of various specialties and medical university students
