Algorithms for processing information of modern navigation systems and unmanned aerial vehicle complexes have been studied. The most popular numerical criteria for observability, controllability, and identifiability are presented, which are used to determine the quality characteristics of models. An original numerical criterion for the observability of state variables of a class of nonlinear models using the SDC method has been developed. A method for assessing the controllability of state variables of models based on the observability criterion and the principle of duality is provided. A methodology for selecting the information field used in the navigation systems for the correction of inertial navigation systems (INS) taking into account the operating conditions of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been developed. Criteria for forming the dynamic working structure of the navigation system during UAV flight in a changing interference environment are proposed, based on the analysis of estimates of the variances of the measured noise.
