The book you are holding is a reprint of a collection of algebra problems by P.A. Larichev for 6-7 grades of secondary school (1959, part 1). In 1950, this collection was awarded the first prize by the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the RSFSR. Its methodological value has been preserved to this day. The author offers tasks of various levels of difficulty and focus, distributed across chapters: algebraic expressions, positive and negative numbers, factoring polynomials, algebraic fractions, equations and systems of first-degree equations, etc. Each chapter has subsections with tasks on specific topics: exponentiation, operations with monomials and polynomials, basic transformations of algebraic fractions, solving equations and systems of equations with one or two unknowns. At the end of each chapter, there are review tasks, and for self-assessment, there are answers at the end of the book. This collection will be of interest to students, their parents, and teachers as a source of additional exercises for subject preparation.
