Artist Alexey Knikheenok is a bright phenomenon in the Russian painting of the 1960s. The years of becoming his creativity fell on the era of thaw with all of her sometimes contradictory turns. Frontovik, having wandering the military "by complete", Anicheenok managed to find himself in art, gradually groping the pulse of the new time. Of great importance for his biography played a meeting with an outstanding scientist P.L. Kapitsa, who had invaluable help by the artist. Personal exhibition At the Institute of Physical Problems of the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1965 gave the artist a ticket to the world of genuine large art. The album first publishes work from the meeting of the Pskov Museum-Reserve, which keeps the main creative heritage of the painter, as well as the meetings of the Moscow Galeev Gallery.
