The album presents photographs of the unique mosaic ensemble of the Church of three saints in the village of Arkhangelskoye, near Moscow. The interior of the new temple, built on the model of the Russian Cathedral of the XII century, was made by the famous contemporary artist Alexander Kornoukhov and his employees in line with the traditions of Byzantine art using innovative art and technical solutions. A rich illustrative material is accompanied by a master’s story about the practice of working in church architecture and the creative method of improvisation, about the history of the creation of a mosaic and their theological and symbolic content
