This book continues the series "Great Names of Russia" and is dedicated to the great statesman of Russia - Emperor Alexander III, nicknamed the "Peacemaker", not only because he brought 13 years of peace to our country, but also for his ability to prevent wars in Europe and around the world. Alexander III took power over the country after a terrorist act committed against his father and left it strong and respected abroad. During Alexander III's reign, there was the greatest growth of entrepreneurship, the flourishing of science and culture in the entire history of Russia. The great Russian scientist D.I. Mendeleev calculated that if Russia had developed at the same pace as it did under Alexander III, by 2000 we would have had a population of 600 million and the world's first economy.
