The Akathist to St. Innocent of Moscow has been published by the Publishing House of the Moscow Patriarchate. Metropolitan Innocent became renowned not only for his saintly labors on the Moscow cathedra, but to a greater extent for his apostolic feat - zealous missionary work among the peoples of the Amur region, Yakutia, Kamchatka, and Alaska. Through his gentleness in communication and fatherly warmth, he earned the love of the Aleuts and Kolosh, the Koryaks and Chukchi, the Yakuts and Evenks. Through his efforts, the indigenous peoples of Kamchatka, Russian America, and the shores of the Sea of Okhotsk were given the opportunity to hear the word of God in their native languages. The Akathist to St. Innocent is printed in large civil font with stress marks. The publication is supplemented with his life story and a small glossary.
