Numerous film adaptations and reprints of these works in the twentieth century confirmed the unfading interest of readers and spectators in these brilliant examples of adventure literature. The first novel about the Winnett was in the real edition, which tells about the acquaintance of Old Shetterhend and the young Indian from the Apachi tribe. Two heroes, not inferior to each other in strength, nobility and courage, before surviving many dangers and swear to each other in eternal friendship, were destined to be deadly enemies
