The next book of the collection of works by the wonderful American writer James Willard Schulz (1859–1947) continues to publish a series of stories about the adventures of the old friend of the writer, the pioneer of the distant West, the trape-pass and the Mekhotorgist Hugh Monroe (rising wolf) This volume includes the story "Fighting tribes", known only for the only magazine publication and continuing the story of the youthful adventures of the rising wolf, about his dangerous journey to the Indians of Shayienne, as well as works dedicated to the stormy life of the grandson of Monroe - William Jackson, a participant in wars with Shainnins And Siu, scout of General Caster, a veteran of the famous battle for Little Bigorn. The story "William Jackson, the Indian Scout" first published in full according to the author’s manuscript, without arbitrary abbreviations made by the American publishing house. The reader again expects from first -hand stories about fights with warriors of hostile tribes, wanderings on unknown wilds of the Far West, about the mysterious customs and rituals of the prairie nomads, as well as the details of the battles of the American army with the Indians of the Great Plains. The book also contains documentary applications dedicated to the work of J. W. Schultz and biography of W. Jackson
