Women can no longer work, you can’t read, write, argue with their spouse - and Dr. Gene McCellan, under pain of death, has to interrupt his scientific career.
But she is not one of those who surrender without a fight. With horror, looking at the terrible world around him, the behavior of their children, surprisingly quickly adapting to the new regime, Jin understands - it is necessary to return to women the right to vote. Otherwise, the end will come not only for herself and her family, but also for the whole nation.
