Kelemen Mikesh (1690-1762)-a associate, a devoted follower and servant of the great figure of Hungarian history, a fighter for independence, the Hungarian people of Prince Ferenc II Rakoti (1676-1735), who became one of the key figures of Hungarian national consciousness. The letters of Mikesh were addressed to the fictitious addressee ("cousin") - a distant relative, allegedly also living in exile, but in the distance, at the other, Asian, the bank of the Bosphorus, a woman to whom he experiences not only related feelings. Living, direct intonations, painting letters, indicate an intensive spiritual life, which, in the absence of a real public, lived the author. In this - and not only in this, but also in the ability to suppress despair, often becoming almost unbearable, and humor, irony and self -irony help him to do their job. The work he left still fascinates readers in Hungary and in other countries. Mikesh with full right can be considered the founder of Hungarian artistic prose
