Khvan Sunvon (1915-2000) - one of the most famous writers of Korea. He made his debut as a schoolboy, publishing his poems in 1931, and in 1937 his first story "Street Adverbs" was printed. Taking pressure from the occupying Japanese authorities, in 1942, Khvan Sunvon retires to his homeland in the hinterland and prefers to be silent. In these years, he wrote a number of works, but not one of them was published. His writing activity resumed only in 1947 after the liberation of Korea.
The novel "Trees on the Kosogoras", telling about the fate of the soldiers who passed the Korean war, and describes the internal experiences of the young generation deeply wounded by this civil war, was published in 1960. The writer was trying to understand the wounds of his compatriots and inspire the wounds of his compatriots and impress They hope for a return to a peaceful life. The theme of the novel is also relevant and outside the temporary framework, since the tragedy of people faced with the violence of the outside world can happen in any era.
