Herbert George Wells is rightfully considered one of the ancestors of fantastic literature, his novels are known to the whole world. Wells has always admired the achievements of science that can change the life of man and society, and many ideas expressed in his books became prophetic.
The collection includes two famous works of Wells: "Time Machine" and "Island of Dr. Moro". The hero "Time Machine" creates an experimental installation for chronicle and moves 800 thousand years to the future. It turned out that during this time monstrous changes occurred on Earth: people were divided into two types of creatures - carefree pampered Eloans and bestial morlocks living underground. The novel "Island of Dr. Moro" talks about a crazy scientist who decided to surgically turn animals into people. However, nature does not tolerate such rude intervention ...
