Charles Robinson was among the pioneers of the Golden Age illustration and one of the first was able to convey his art to the reader in its original form. The first book, which was illustrated by Robinson in 1895, was the book of Robert Lewis Stevenson "Kindergarten of Poems". Throughout his career, Charles Robinson illustrated more than a hundred books.
