The Great Gatsby

Roman Francis Scott Fitzgerald (1896-1940) "The Great Gatsbi"b"- one of the masterpieces of American literature. The hero of the novel is the embodiment of two opposites: a naive dreamer, a generous romantic, on the one hand, on the other, a businessman striving for wealth and success. His whole life is subordinated to the desire to win the love of a young woman Daisy, for this he buys a villa near her house, arranges endless holidays, for which crowds of guests come. But everything is in vain: wealth and happiness are by no means the same thing - after his death, none of the people, without a twinge of conscience, enjoy Gatsby’s hospitality, and even her beloved woman did not come to his funeral. This is the tragic finale of this outstanding dreamer.

My novel is about how the illusions are emitted, which give the world such colorfulness that, having experienced this magic, a person becomes indifferent to the concept of true and false.
