Henry Ryder Haggard (1856–1925) is a classic of world adventure literature, a knight-team of the Order of the British Empire, a publicist, politician and a passionate researcher who has lost his whole life for the lost worlds. His novels are also read to this day, the heroes of Haggard are sincerely admirable - these are brave conquerors of the seas and unknown lands, people of wide nature and a firm nature, ready to fight with evil in the name of justice (adjusted to the point of view of an enlightened imperialist, which was the author).
Three famous Haggard novels are collected in this volume: “The daughter of Montesum”, “The Beautiful Margaret” and “The Tsar of the Queen of Savskaya” - in the first novel the preface and initiation of the author were added, the latter was presented in full translation. The collection is illustrated by the magnificent graphics of famous artists - contemporaries of the author
