The image of the winning all everyday hardships of Robinson is familiar to us since childhood. The creator of this character Daniel Defoe was born in 1663 in London in the family of a simple butcher. The craving for composition woke up in it early. Even before the appearance of his Robinson he became a gifted writer in England, and after his pen came a lot of works. Why did the description of Robinsonad glorify the name of Defoe around the world? For England of that time, it was a new type of literature. It is no accident that after the Robinson, a persistent demand arose for such pseudo -domestic prose. Secondly, Defoe described a new type of person. Being in a constant dialogue with God, he nevertheless independently solves all the difficult problems and tasks that life sets for him. It was such a deeply believer who is a lazy man and the Borger Man that the ideal of English Protestantism. In the Soviet publications, Robinson "editors were invariably thrown out this religious component of the novel, which turned the famous work of Defoe into almost children"s literature. In this publication, the text is given completely, without bills. It includes the second part of the novel, to the domestic reader almost unfamiliar. The text of the famous novel by Daniel Defoe Dan is translated by Lyubov Alekseevna Murakhina-Aksenova. She spent her childhood in Germany, where her father, von Zeppelin, was well known. Having abandoned a solid inheritance in favor of her sister, she moved to Russia. She studied at the Medical and Surgical Academy, worked as a telephone operator, and was engaged in underground political activities. And yet the main in her life was translations. She independently mastered eight languages, read in Sanskrit, knew English perfectly. It is not surprising that her translation of the "Robinson" very accurately corresponds to the text of the original. The design of the book uses drawings of a talented English illustrator and schedule Walter Stanley Page. The future artist was born in 1863. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts with a gold medal, and then for a long time he was illustrating books and magazines. He was especially scrupulous in the depiction of the costumes of his characters, which helped him at the end of the 19th century when working on the "Robinson" - all the drawings in this book were captivated by their detailed authenticity. In addition to Defoe, Walter Page illustrated the works of Scott and Stevenson. His elder brother Sidney Page was also an artist, he went down in history as the author of illustrations for a series of stories about Sherlock Holmes. In this publication, the text of the world famous novel Daniel “Life, the extraordinary and amazing adventures of Robinson Crusoe "translated by L. A.
