The bright representative of the American book illustration Newars Wyeth (Newell Convers Wyeth) created drawings for more than a hundred books and presented millions of children around the world with the famous pictures with Captain Silver, Tom Sawyer and Robinson Crusoe. Wyeth"s illustrations for this work are so good that the adventure world comes to life, filling everything around the mysterious magic of marine romance. You read and feel salty spray on your cheek, and then you dream of traveling for a long time, seeing in a dream "masts, waves, sails, gulls, unknown countries and lights of lighthouses". Newell Wayet in his illustrations is as detailed in detail as Daniel Defoe in the text. Its realistic manner is ideally suited for a book, "in which there is no drop of fiction", because Defoe invented more reliable than the truth
