“Queen Margo” is one of the most famous novels by Alexander Dumas, he read and love all over the world as “Three Musketeers” and “Count Monte Cristo”. The action of the novel takes place at the end of the 16th century, during the time of religious wars between Protestants (Huguenots) and Catholics. For the sake of restoring the world, the French princess, Catholic Margarita de Valois, marry Henry of Navarre, the leader of the Huguenots, despite her love affair with the Duke de Giz. Further events unfold rapidly, as is characteristic of the books of Alexander Dumas: exciting adventures, palace intrigues, love dramas, as well as the bloody massacre of Bartholomew’s night, perhaps the most exciting description of this fatal event in all world literature.
