“Praise of stupidity” is the world -famous satire of an outstanding Dutch humanist and philosopher Erasmus Rotterdam (1469–1536) Only during the life of the author it was published 40 times. The text of this work is a narrative leading on behalf of stupidity. She praises herself, as well as with the help of impeccable logic and appeal to facts, proves a huge role that she plays in life. Along the way, the author lips of the main “heroine” collapses on the customs and customs of his era, showing the absurdity and stupidity of what happened in the world under the slogans of high lecture and estate arrogance.
