“Little Women” and “Young Wives” are the most famous novels of the American writer Louise May Olcott. For the first time published in 1868, “little women” won the love of readers around the world, were translated into more than 50 languages and formed the basis of many films and theatrical productions. This wonderful novel tells the story of the four friendly, unlike each other sisters: romantic meg, whispering Joe, Tikhoni Beth and the wayward Amy. Together with the mother, waiting for the return of the father from the war, the girls go through the difficult path of growing up, on which they meet deprivations and rewards, deadly dangers and disinterested help, false guidelines and real friends.
In the Young Wives the action takes place three years after the events described in the previous part. The charming girls of the march family quietly turned into exquisite ladies, however, without losing a bit of their charm. Now, having left the cozy country of childhood, they must enter the boundless, unknown space of adulthood
