The largest representative of the “lost generation” Thomas Wolf (1900-1938) is included in the galaxy of writers who formed American prose in the 20-30s of the XX century. Contemporaries put him on a par with Hemingway, Folkner and Fitzgerald. Although Wolfe"s creative activity lasted only a decade, he left a vivid mark in the history of US literature.
