In the new volume of the collected works of the classic of Belgian literature, Reimon, Jean Marie Kremer, better known under the literary names, Jean Ray, John Flanders and Harry Dixon, nine stories were included from his almost unknown outside the cycle. The cycle is dedicated to the adventures of a descendant of one of the episodic heroes of Arthur Conan Doyle, mentioned in the stories of Sherlock Holmes, Professor Joe Bell. Before us is a new hero, sixteen -year -old Edmond Bell, as young as Rultaby from the "secret of the yellow room" of Gaston Lerus, equally insightful and equally brilliant. The situation is different with two stories about the inspector of triggs: most of the stories dedicated to him, plot coincides with the stories about Harry Dixon. Most, but not all: two novels, the only magazine publication of which
took place in the mid-50s, were discovered recently, and exist only with this main character, pretty like a Simenon commissar Megre
