Perhaps this is one of the best, pure and strong love books. She inspires at happy moments of life and gives hope for the best when sad in her soul. The novel produced a splash when he was published in 1847. For the first time with such force and passion, a woman declared her right to be a person.
In Russian, Jane Air has translated nine times over the past one and a half centuries. Few books boast of such a close interest of translators.
In this publication, the reader is proposed to the literary processed translation of the book, which was published in the journal Young Reader in 1901. It was on him that the young ladies of pre -revolutionary Russia met Jane Air. Unfortunately, the name of the translator remained unknown. According to a Russian researcher of creativity Sh. Bronte Yu.V. Yamalova, the content of the novel in 1901 was transmitted quite fully, and at the same time the text is close to Russian culture, adapted to the Russian reader
