The anthology presents the works of the classics of the Danish and Norwegian literature of the XIX -XX centuries in different genres - from the essay to the novel, as well as the currently living Danish prose writers and playwrights who are few familiar to the Russian readership. In the preface, the author gives a brief analysis of the texts included in the collection, recalls work on them, talks about his life and creative path and shares his thoughts about the specifics of the translation craft
