Giovanni Boccaccio (1313-1375), one of the most prominent Italian writers of the Renaissance, created the story Fyammett in 1343. Of course, the work bears on
for itself the imprint of those times, so now the experiences of the main character may seem a little naive, but the topic of the work itself - love - will always be relevant.
Researchers suggest that Fyammett is a pseudonym, under which Bokkaccio hides the name of his beloved. The pseudonym is present in many works of the author, including in the famous Decameron, excerpts from which, thematically echoing with Fyammett, are also represented in this publication
