The training manual pays special attention to the significance of the experimental business in intensive agriculture and research methods in scientific agronomy. The issues of organizing an experienced business are presented. In detail the methods of research, the requirements for field experiments, the number of options and controls in experience, the size of experimental divisions and width of protective stripes, the form of experimental plots and their orientation on the terrain, repeat and repetition in experiments, and conditions for their conduct are set out.
In certain chapters of the training manual, the classification of methods for placing options (random (rendomed), standard and systematic placement) is considered. Methodological and practical materials are given on the soil and biological survey of the land area, the choice of soils for studying the elements of technology for cultivating basic experimental crops, preparing experimental fields for laying experiments, organizing reconnaissance crops and planning experiments, as well as examples of statistical processing of obtained experimental data.
Statistical processing techniques are given using modern computer technologies.
