“FIEST” (“FIEST. And the sun rises”) (1926) is one of Hemingway"s most famous novels, a kind of literary manifesto of “Lost Generation” of the 20s of the XX century.
“FIEST” is an autobiographical novel. It was based on the writer Corrida, friendship with one Spanish Matador, the experiences caused by a break with his wife. Almost all the characters of the novels are Hemingway"s friends.
