England, the end of the 18th century.
The country is covered by horror due to the growing military power of the French. The English fleet needs sailors. And the Admiralty gives a warrant for forced recruitment of sailors. Young people are grabbed right on the streets and tied to be delivered to ships. In the pre-war chaos, the young daughter of the farmer Sylvia falls in love with the beautiful sailor-guts of Charlie Kinraid, while the chopped and ideal in everything is Philip, the cousin of Sylvia, burns from unrequited love for her. The love triangle wounds with sharp corners. But in the life of the heroes, recruiters burst, and the chaos of a great story is crippling the fate of lovers. Only having passed all the trials, repenting and reconciling, overcoming the unbearable gap between duty and desire, Sylvia will make a choice. But after everything that happened, will it become truly happy?
