The training manual reflects issues regarding the study and assessment of the resource significance of all the components of the landscape: geological foundation, maternal rocks, soils, relief and vegetation cover in certain climatic conditions. Information is given about the properties and classifications of these components of the natural environment, methods and effectiveness of their recognition based on remote sensing materials. The manual discusses important areas of applied cosmonautics and aerial photography dedicated to solving the problems of forestry and nature protection. A distinctive feature of the manual is a combination of data on natural resources, their characteristics and significance with basic information about distance methods of studying and evaluating these resources. As an additional material, the allowance can be used in the development of disciplines of forestry profile.
