Edward John Morton Drax Plancktt, 18th Baron Danseini, published as Lord Danseini, is the famous author of many novels, plays and literary fairy tales, standing at the source of the Fantasy genre itself. Perhaps the first in European literature he created a whole “secondary world” - with his cosmology, mythology, history and geography. His mythology influenced Lovecraft, Tolkien and Borges, and paradoxical humor, a constant game with reader expectations - on the Nile of Gaiman and the entire modern ironic fantasy.
