Two novels, two masterpieces of Reimon Radiga, a genius who died at the age of 20 and left a bright mark in French literature at the beginning of the 20th century.
"I was burning, I was in a hurry, like people who knew that they should die young, and therefore living excitedly," - Raymon Raymon radig put these visionary words into the hero’s mouth, but it turned out about himself. Fate did not give him time to build up, on a draft. Radiga died at the age of 20, having managed to do a lot for his short life: two magnificent novels, poems, plays, libretto operas, magazine articles, watercolor illustrations for his own poems ...
Two novels are presented in the collection: "Devil in the flesh" and "Ball at the Count of D"Orezhel".
"Devil in the flesh" is a piercing novel about youthful love with all its egoism, extremes, cruelty: daring feelings, "set forth on the pages of the school notebook in the cell." The most piercing, perhaps the only truly honest book about youth, actually written by a child.
"Ball at Count d"Orezhel" came out after the death of the author and was prepared for the press to Jean Cocteau, which celebrated in the preface: "The twenty -year -old young man wrote a book that cannot be written at the age of twenty."
