Yukhan August Strindberg (1849–1912) is a very important figure in the literature and the Sweden Theater. The ruler of the Duma, the naturalist and expressionist, mystic, the unsurpassed master of psychological portraits. However, the most capacious and rich was a self -portrait. The novel “The Confession of the fool” (1887) is autobiographical, he reflects the writer’s personal life with his first wife, Siri von Essen. The work is the brightest history of the destruction of love between a man and a woman, a map of mental disorders, smoldering madness and disgusting jealousy. Strindberg and the judge, and the lawyer, and, of course, the brilliant writer. The Confession of the fool anticipates the postmodern novel of the 20th century
