The pen of the great English playwright William Shakespeare belongs to more than ten comedies. Their plots are different, but there is something in common in them - unrestrained fun, sometimes interspersed with sadness, and outstanding heroes who are related by the will, a sharp mind, the desire for independence and crushing love of life. These are romantic tales, and charming adventures, comedies of positions and grotesque fables. But the most interesting thing in them is the image of the quirks of the human heart, what can be called the oddities of love.
The most famous comedies of Shakespeare were included in the present publication: “Taming the obstinate”, “Summer Night Dream”, “Twelve Night, or Anything”, “A lot of noise from nothing” and others.
The book is accompanied by classic illustrations of the American artist of the 19th century Felix Darli
