"Catherion" is the second novel of the dilogy of Robert Lewis Stevenson about the adventures of David Balfur. The young man, having become the new owner of the Shoos estate, decides to help his friend Alan leave Scotland and restore justice against James Stuart, falsely accused of loud political murder.
However, on the way of David there is a clan of Kempbell, who is trying by all means to interfere with a young man who has entered into the life and honor of his friends. But David is not afraid - he bravely throws into the cycle of dangerous adventures, where he meets his first and true love, proud beauty Catrion Drummond ... The daughter of the criminal James Mora and the granddaughter of the legendary Scottish robber of the robe from the McGregor clan.
Roman "Catriona" (like the first part of the dilogy, the novel “stolen”) illustrated the honored artist of the Russian Federation, an outstanding master of historical and adventure illustration Anatoly Zinovievich Itkin.
Anatoly Zinovievich designed more than 200 works of Russian and world classical literature. His paintings can be found in many museums and galleries - the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of A.S. Pushkin in Moscow, the All -Russian Museum of A.S. Pushkin in St. Petersburg, in private meetings of Russia and other countries.
