The Cathedral of the Paris Mother of God (1831) is the famous historical novel Hugo. It is thanks to its appearance that we can admire one of the most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in the world - in the very center of Paris. Hugo attracted his attention to the cathedral with his work, and did it intentionally, since the Notre Dame was going to demolish. The author did not hide that the main character of his novel is the Cathedral of the Parisian Mother of God. But the reader will undoubtedly remember the vivid images of this book - the beautiful gypsy of Esmeralda, a noble, good soul of the freak of Quasimodo, an insidious priest, tormented by the forbidden feelings for Esmeralda, and many others. This novel, like a musical set on it, from which we all know almost by heart, will not leave anyone indifferent
