Hugo attracted his attention to the cathedral with his work, and did it intentionally, since the Notre Dame was going to demolish. The author did not hide that the main character of his novel is the Cathedral of the Parisian Mother of God.
But the reader will undoubtedly remember the vivid images of this book - the beautiful gypsy of Esmeralda, a noble, good soul of the freak of Quasimodo, an insidious priest, tormented by the forbidden feelings for Esmeralda, and many others.
