The textbook is developed in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard in the Preparation of “Horticulture” (bachelor"s level) for the discipline (module) “Biology of Garden Cultures” and the thematic plan of discipline.
The goals of the discipline are the acquisition of the basics of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the biological and production characteristics of garden plants, the study of morphological characteristics and biological features, the laws of growth, development and fruiting of garden crops, plant relations to the main environmental factors. In order to consolidate the material under consideration at lectures, final test tasks are given
