“Big Hopes” is one of the most popular works of the great English -language prose writer of the 19th century. The story of Philip Pyrrip (nicknamed Pip), young men from the family of a blacksmith who unexpectedly fell into the world of gentlemen, to high society. Does Pip find out the secret of his anonymous patron, will he be able to win the lovely lady Estell and become a true gentleman or will Pip’s big hopes break tragically?
