Thomas Gardi (1840-1928) is an English novelist, poet, author of works shocking Victorian society: "Tess from the D"Erberville clan" and "Jude inconspicuous". Originally from the provincial family of Kamenetsov, Gardi decided to continue education - he studied architecture, painting, Latin, and in his free time he worked as a violinist at rural weddings.
